Position Overview:
City of Refuge is seeking a compassionate and highly organized Registered Nurse to support the health and wellness needs of children and youth across our educational and youth development programs, including City School Atlanta. The Registered Nurse will help ensure a safe, healthy, and supportive environment for students and families through direct care, health coordination, wellness education, and emergency response.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide nursing care and health assessments for students and youth participants
Administer medications and maintain accurate medication logs
Develop and monitor individualized healthcare plans and emergency action plans
Respond to student illnesses, injuries, and medical emergencies
Maintain student health records and ensure compliance with state and organizational requirements
Communicate with parents, healthcare providers, and school staff regarding student health concerns
Support immunization tracking and health screenings
Assist with health education initiatives for students, families, and staff
Ensure compliance with health, sanitation, and safety regulations across youth programs
Participate in crisis response and safety planning efforts
Collaborate with school leadership, counselors, and support staff to promote student wellness
Qualifications:
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Georgia
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred
Pediatric, school nursing, or community health experience preferred
CPR and First Aid certification required
Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to work effectively with children, youth, and families from diverse backgrounds
Passion for serving youth in an educational and community-based environment

Position Overview:
City School Atlanta is seeking energetic, student-centered Elementary Teachers for Kindergarten, 1st Grade, 2nd Grade, and 4th Grade classrooms. Teachers will create engaging learning experiences that support academic growth, character development, and social-emotional learning in a nurturing and structured environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging, standards-based instruction aligned to Georgia Standards of Excellence
Create a positive and structured classroom culture
Differentiate instruction to meet diverse student learning needs
Monitor student progress and maintain accurate academic records
Use assessment data to inform instruction and intervention strategies
Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress
Collaborate with colleagues, intervention staff, and school leadership
Participate in professional development and school-wide initiatives

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field required
Georgia teaching certification or active certification process required
